Austin City Limits

As the weather begins to cool down, festival season begins. This means incredible music, great drinks, and even better company. With Warped Tour ending and Lollapalooza closing out the summer, one might wonder what the next big move is this year. But don’t fret. Austin City Limits has you covered.

Austin, Texas is quickly becoming an up and coming spot for millennials. With it’s vintage shopping, boutique coffee shops, and endless amounts of bars, it’s no wonder it’s become the 6th city in the country for attracting millennials. So it makes perfect sense to host one of the year’s biggest music festivals here.

The Acts

Much like Coachella, waiting around for the lineup every year has everyone waiting anxiously. Let’s just say the festival gods didn’t disappoint this year. With classic acts such as Paul McCartney, Metallica, Childish Gambino, Arctic Monkeys, Travis Scott, Odesza, Khalid, Shawn Mendes, and more, there is literally something for everyone. In fact, I could probably spend hours plotting out the bands to see. And to top it off, ACL goes out of their way to make sure that all three days have a jam packed line up so you’ll want to be there all day. We’re talking about 8 stages and more than 125 performances.

The Food & Drinks

Some would argue that the food and drinks are one of the best parts of a music festival. The food court features 33 vendors with almost every kind of food you can imagine. From burgers, Mexican food, funnel cake, pizza, and gourmet-grilled cheese, you definitely won’t go hungry. And what would a Darty be without drinks? There’s a beer hall, wine lounge, and a Tito’s vodka parlor just to name a few. You won’t have any trouble keeping those cups full.

The Fashion

While ACL might not be quite the fashion show like Coachella, you can still bet that the street fashion is one of the best parts of the festival. Break out the southwestern clothing and you’ll fit right in. Just keep in mind that the weather in Texas can pretty unpredictable. It might be 85 degrees and humid during the day and 60 degrees and chilly once that sun goes down.

Overall

Overall, Austin City Limits not only is one of the best music festivals in the country but also could be considered one of the best Darty's in the country. With drinks pouring, good-looking girls and guys everywhere you look, and some of the best music you’ll hear, ACL takes the cake in our book. Until Coachella that is.
